Shaq’s Mama Said Knock You Out Celebrity Golf Classic
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Each year brings additional new ways to service our community with our combined efforts through the Odessa
Chambliss Quality of Life Fund. Your support and financial contributions over the years have been a tremendous
blessing to many students in educational institutions and other organizations.
Since 1996, our goals continue to be accomplished and surpass all expectations. With the addition of The Odessa
Chambliss Center for Health Equity on the campus of the great Bethune Cookman University in Daytona
Beach, FL we are now able to serve others in another capacity. You all have been very instrumental in helping
us to bring continued awareness to many who need assistance. You have heard the story time and time again, at
the time of our mother’s death (Odessa) we learned “it is not the quantity of years one lives, but the quality of life
that is important.” My family and I continue to stand on our commitment to support this principle daily. I am
happy to say that after each event another dream becomes a reality for some deserving students and individuals
in our communities.
As our team begins the planning stages for another spectacular event, we are soliciting your financial support for
The Shaq’s Mama Said Knock You Out 2020 Golf Tournament and Soulful Midday Soiree. This scheduled
event is to take place on April 23rd and April 24th, 2021. A VIP Reception on Thursday evening will kick off
the activities followed by golf the next morning at Rosen Shingle Creek Golf Club. We will wrap up the golf
tournament with a Soulful Midday Soiree which will include a fun filled afternoon of good food and socializing
with great people.
The Odessa Chambliss Quality of Life Fund is a 501(C) 3 charitable organization and can provide you with the
necessary documentations for your records upon request. As we go forward with our plans and the excitement
continues to build, we sincerely hope and pray that you will again join us in our efforts. You are an integral part
of The Odessa Quality of Life Fund and one of the reasons we continue to exist.
